Non-Core Real Estate Search
The County Employees’ and Officers’ Annuity & Benefit Fund of Cook County invites the submission of proposals from qualified investment advisers to provide non-core real estate investment services. The RFP is available beginning August 25, 2014 and the submission deadline is 3:00 P.M. (CDT), September 19, 2014. All respondents must complete or update by the submission deadline Callan Associates’ Manager Questionnaire which can be found at www.callan.com.

2014 Trustee Election
An election for a Cook County Employee Trustee member of the Retirement Board will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Voting will take place in person at the Cook County Building and by mail. Only Cook County employees are eligible to vote in this year's election. If you are retired or are employed by the Forest Preserve District, there is no election for you this year. County Administration's Pension Reform Proposal Fails to Pass Legislature
The Cook County administration introduced a pension reform bill in the legislature on May 27. The bill passed the Senate but was not called for a vote in the House before the end of the legislative session. As a result, no changes to benefits or funding related to the bill will move forward at this time. Click the link below for more information.
