2014 Trustee Election Results

The Cook County Pension Fund held our annual Trustee election on October 29, 2014. This year the election was held for one of three County employee member positions. As decided by a majority of Cook County employees, the Fund congratulates Mr. Brent Lewandowski who was declared the winner of this year’s election. This will be Mr. Lewandowski’s second term as a trustee of the Fund. He will continue to serve another three year term which begins December 1, 2014. Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2014 Trustee election.

County Administration's Pension Reform Proposal Fails to Pass Legislature

The Cook County administration introduced a pension reform bill in the legislature on May 27. The bill passed the Senate but was not called for a vote in the House before the end of the legislative session. As a result, no changes to benefits or funding related to the bill will move forward at this time. Click the link below for more information.
