Retirement Board
The Fund is governed by a nine member Board of Trustees

Trustee Clem Balanoff - Vice President
Trustee Alexis Herrera - Secretary
Trustee Robert Benjamin
Trustee Robert Janura
Trustee Brent Lewandowski
Trustee Patrick J. McFadden
Trustee Kurt Summers
Four are elected by Employees of Cook County & Forest Preserve
Three are elected by Annuitants of Cook County & Forest Preserve
Two are Ex-Officio seats.
Board members serve staggered three-year terms.
Schedule
The Board meets on a monthly basis for full board meetings and periodically as determined by the President.
In addition, to provide dedicated focus and strategy on key issues, the Board has formed the following committees.
1. Investment Committee
2. Health Benefit Committee
3. Emerging Manager Investment Committee
These committees meet perioically throughout the year.
All schedules are posted in the meetings section of this website. A notice is posted 2 weeks prior to each meeting and the agenda is posted 1 week prior to each meeting.
