Notice is hereby given to all Cook County employees, Forest Preserve annuitants and Cook County annuitants that elections for a Cook County Active Employee will be held on October 28, 2026. Only Cook County active employees may vote for a Cook County active Employee Trustee.
Nominating petitions are first available on August 20, 2026, and must be obtained at the Fund’s office at 70 West Madison Street, Suite 1925, Chicago, IL. Nominating petitions must be filed at the Fund’s office during regular business hours between 9:00am on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, through 4:30pm on Friday, September 4, 2026.
FOR THE OCTOBER 2026 ELECTION, YOU CAN VOTE BY MAIL OR ELECTRONICALLY.
You will receive a ballot and online voting instructions in the mail. Mail-in ballots will be mailed no later than September 28, 2026, to your address on record with the Fund, as received from your employer. Confirm your current mailing address is on file with your employer. If you do not receive a paper ballot, you must call (877) 324-7655 by October 21, 2026, to request another ballot to be mailed. If you wish to vote online, and do not receive your instructions, you must call (877) 324-7655 by 11:59 PM Central Time on October 26, 2026, to request your online voting instructions.
