Annuity Benefits - At A Glance
There are two tiers of Benefits for Employees of Cook County and the Forest Preserve District. Members that first participated before January 1, 2011 are in the "Tier 1" plan. Those who first participated on or after January 1, 2011 are in the "Tier 2" plan.
Be aware that if you participated in a reciprocal system before January 1, 2011 you may be entitled to "Tier 1" benefits.
