- CCPF hired UnitedHealthcare to administer the retiree medical program.
- The cost of coverage is shared between you and CCPF.
- On average, you are paying about 50% of the cost.
- All of our plans have either co-pays or co-insurance, which means you pay a small amount of the cost of each service.
- Each plan offers prescription drug coverage.

Our Current Options
UnitedHealthcare offers two medical plans for retirees to choose from: the Choice Plan and the Choice Plus Plan. Since the UnitedHealthcare network is national, it doesn't matter whether you live in state or out-of-state, you have the option of enrolling in either plan.

Vision Coverage
Under the UHC Vision Plan eye glasses, contact lenses, and routine eye exams are covered whether you are enrolled in the UHC Choice or Choice Plus medical plan.

Prescription Drug Coverage
Pharmacy coverage is automatically included with enrollment in any of CCPF's medical plans. CCPF makes these benefits available through CVS/Caremark and for Retirees enrolled in Medicare, through SilverScript.

Medicare
CCPF provides supplemental health insurance coverage at a reduced premium rate for members over age 65 who are eligible for Medicare.
