How to Enroll or Change Coverage

If you are eligible for coverage you may complete an application when you retire, or after retirement if you did not elect coverage at that time.

After your initial enrollment period, you can make changes to your coverage during our annual open enrollment period, by completing an enrollment change form.

You may also, in certain circumstances, make a change due to a qualifying event.

If you have a qualified change in status due to one of the following events, you may be eligible to adjust your coverage because of that change.

  • Marriage, divorce, or legal separation
  • Death
  • Becoming Medicare eligible
  • Birth, adoption, or obtaining legal guardianship of a child
  • Loss of other employer coverage
