Open Enrollment

General Information

The Cook County Pension Fund (CCPF) holds an annual Open Enrollment period, generally in the fall, during which members who are eligible can enroll in coverage or make changes to the plan you have selected previously. If you are an eligible member who has suspended their coverage, this period allows you to re-enroll and select plans that reflect your changing needs. Please note that open enrollment is November 1-30.

If you are enrolled in the retiree health plans, you will receive a mailing announcing plan changes and new plan features. If you do not currently have medical coverage you will need to contact CCPF at (312) 603-1200 and request information on how to enroll.

The best way to stay informed is to attend an Open Enrollment meeting in person, where you can speak with CCPF staff, and representatives from UnitedHealthcare and CVS/Caremark to get the most from your coverage.

Find out if your doctor and hospital are in the UnitedHealthcare network by either calling Customer Care at (888) 651-7313 or by visiting their web site

Attend an Open Enrollment Event

One of the best opportunities to connect with our staff and representatives from your health benefits program is during Open Enrollment in the fall.  Get prepared for this year's Open Enrollment by taking a moment to think about your choices in healthcare and benefits.

During Open Enrollment, find your path to health as we provide helpful information for Wellness, At Risk and Chronic Conditions.

We hope you will attend an event in your community to meet with representatives from UnitedHealthcare, CVS/Caremark, Guardian Dental, and CCPF staff.  No RSVP is necessary.
