Employee Trustee Election | Annuitant Trustee Election

EMPLOYEE TRUSTEE ELECTION

Notice is hereby given to all Cook County employee contributors to the County Employees' and Officers' Annuity and Benefit Fund of Cook County that the Election of a Cook County Employee Member Trustee will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
 
 
You can vote in person or by mail. 
  • In-person voting will take place from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in Room 885 of the Cook County Building, 118 North Clark Street, Chicago Illinois. 
  • To vote by mail, an application for a mail ballot will be sent to each Cook County employee no later than Monday, September 30, 2019.  Any employee who does not receive an application for a mail ballot should contact the Pension Fund at (312) 603-1200 no later than Monday, October 7, 2019, to request that another application be sent to the employee.

ANNUITANT TRUSTEE ELECTION

Cook County Annuitant Trustee Election Update:
 

For December 1, 2019, a Cook County Annuitant Trustee position was up for election, and a sole candidate filed nominating petitions by the filing deadline of September 6, 2019. Pension board election rules mandate that an election can only take place when there are two or more candidates running, therefore there will be no election for a Cook County Annuitant Trustee for the period beginning December 1, 2019.

 

Forest Preserve Annuitant Trustee Election Update:
 

For December 1, 2019, a Forest Preserve Annuitant Trustee position was up for election, and a sole candidate filed nominating petitions by the filing deadline of September 6, 2019. Pension board election rules mandate that an election can only take place when there are two or more candidates running, therefore there will be no election for a Forest Preserve Annuitant Trustee for the period beginning December 1, 2019.
